2021 Home Games by the Numbers

Now that 2021 is completed I thought I’d review some of the accomplishments in our home games.

Most Wins

Jacob Kieke called his shot at the beginning of the year and achieved his goal. There were others with very respectable results.

  1. kekgeek65 (Jacob Kieke) – 20
  2. fergie56 (Kim Kilroy) -16
  3. evilroyca (David Westerveld) – 14

Most Played

Nobody played all 533 home games that we offered last year, but a few came close.

  1. isnnma (Spike) – 510
  2. evilroyca (David Westerveld) -486
  3. Kekgeek (Mark Kieke) – 449

Most Pins

Nobody won the theoretical maximum of seven pins that were possible in 2021, but there were some great achievements.

  1. RecPokerSteve (Steve Fredlund) – 4 pins – Two Silver (Daily Bronze, NLHE Bronze, NLHE Points Silver, NLHE TOC Silver)
  2. Gloves1010 (Collin Anderson) – 4 pins – Every Series (Daily Bronze, NLHE Bronze, Mixed Bronze, Daily TOC Silver)
  3. GopherBoyTJM (Taylor Maas) – 3 pins – Mixed Games (Daily Bronze, Mixed Bronze, Mixed Points Silver)
  4. fergie56 (Kim Kilroy) – 3 pins – Hold’em (Daily Bronze, NLHE Bronze, Daily TOC Silver)

Most Cashes

Nobody won the theoretical maximum of seven pins that were possible in 2021, but there were some great achievements.

  1. Stueyy13 (Stuart Kerridge) – 89 (21%)
  2. JasperJr (Patrick Barry) – 84 (23%)
  3. fergie56 (Kim Kilroy) – 83 (20%)

Best ROI with at least 100 tournaments played

Here is the best return on investment for players with 100 or more tournaments. An ROI of 0% is break even. An ROI of 100 % would mean you would double every dollar (play chip) that you spent on buy-ins.

  1. GopherBoyTJM (Taylor Maas) – 68%
  2. benmar (Elizabeth Bennet-Martin) – 65%
  3. kekgeek65 (Jacob Kieke) – 46%

We look forward to playing with you all in 2022!!!

  1. Where are the rules for the points stuff? Is it the same tournament, just certain days? How are points acquired? What does a person have to do to win 7 pins?

    1. The NLHE Championship Series and the MIXED Game Championship Series use points to determine player of the year. You can checkout https://rec.poker/homegame/nlhe-series/ and https://rec.poker/homegame/mixed-series/ for info.

It’s almost impossible to win all seven pins, pins were given out for the following:

      1. Bronze – Winning a NLHE Series Tournament.
      2. Silver – Winning the NLHE Series Player of the Year (POY) Points Race.
      3. Silver – Winning the NLHE Series Tournament of Champions (TOC).
      4. Bronze – Winning a Mixed Game Series Tournament.
      5. Silver – Winning the Mixed Game Series Player of the Year (POY) Points Race.
      6. Bronze – Winning a Daily Series Tournament.
      7. Silver – Winning a Daily Series Monthly Tournament of Champions (TOC).
