Mixed Series – August 13, 2025

On August 13, 2025 we played Limit Razz to continue off the 2025 Mixed Game Championship Series.

JBach71 (John Bachhuber) battled rabman50 (Rob Washam) heads up after defeating the remaining field of 38 players to earn his first Mixed Game Championship Series title in 2025. This makes 5 total lifetime wins in official Rec.Poker Home Games.

40hubie (Hubert Sacilowski), BruceK54 (Bruce Kieffer), evilroyca (David Westerveld), 1JackFlack (Brett), appleomyi (Harold Berry), mattiebumpo (Kathleen Twomey), and leftie19 (Mike B) rounded out the final table.

JBTwinCities ([Private]) maintains the lead in the 2025 MIXED Championship Series Player of the Year race. evilroyca (David Westerveld) has moved up to third place, 1JackFlack (Brett) has moved up to sixth place and mbabker (Michael Babker) has moved up to tenth place. Only the top 10 scores count toward the Player of the Year points race, so you can still compete even if you miss a couple of events.

Join us the second Wednesday of each month for more of the Mixed series in 2025. There is also a Daily Mixed Practice event the third, fourth (and fifth) Wednesdays in the same format for the next event in the Mixed series.
