Mixed Series – October 8, 2025

On October 8, 2025 we played 6+ Hold’em aka Short Deck to continue off the 2025 Mixed Game Championship Series.

Alwayscallin2s (Storm Anderson) battled fergie56 (Kim Kilroy) heads up after defeating the remaining field of 38 players to earn his or her first Mixed Game Championship Series title in 2025. This makes 2 total lifetime wins in official Rec.Poker Home Games.

Stueyy13 (Stuart Kerridge), BChip (Charles Allen), aces54320 (Kathy Chang), ahoss3 ([Private]), EANDERSON85 (Eric Anderson), appleomyi (Harold Berry), and bonecrusher14 (Marcel Dusyk) rounded out the final table.

evilroyca (David Westerveld) maintains the lead in the 2025 MIXED Championship Series Player of the Year race with JBTwinCities ([Private]) just4 points behind in second place. Zen Heartshadow (Sara Kotz) has moved up to fifth place and PokerGeekMN (John Somsky) has moved up to sixth place. Only the top 10 scores count toward the Player of the Year points race, so you can still compete even if you miss a couple of events.

Join us the second Wednesday of each month for more of the Mixed series in 2025. There is also a Daily Mixed Practice event the third, fourth (and fifth) Wednesdays in the same format for the next event in the Mixed series.
