Recap: RunGood Iowa 2022

Rungood events are some of the best series for a recreational player. The average buy-in is around $200 while the main event is just under $600.

Andrew Feist and I (Tim Fritz AKA Misclickdonkey) recently made the trip to Iowa. What a blast it was!

We did a meet and greet before the first event, handed out patches and spoke to some people about the podcast. We both played several events, and had a great time.

The most fun for us was the 2-day “deepstack” event. We were fortunate and were seated right next to each other for several hours. It definitely had the feel of a home game with as much fun as we were having at the table. While neither of us made any deep runs (and I couldn’t spin my stack up on day 2) we had fun and made some good memories.

Saturday, before playing the main, we had a nice breakfast and talked poker and life. That’s just something you can expect to do at least once if you make a RecPoker Roadtrip.

I know I’ll be making as many RunGood events as possible in the future. I hope to meet some more of the RecPoker community in the future! Until next time!
