What I love about poker. It is the easiest game to learn but it take hard work and dedication to attempt to master and even then you have to study daily it keeps my mind sharp even though I have caught myself being on autopilot on more than one occasion. I love how it brings people together in a positive and yet competitive way and that competition stay within your group of people along with the positivity. It brings out the best in people. I have played poker for nearly 20 years. mostly for fun and not really thinking about the HOW to actually play poker. It wasn’t until about 3 years ago when I started to take a more serious approach to the game.

My real passion for the game started when COVID hit. I worked in the food industry/ delivery and service sector. My delivery partner had come down with COVID so naturally I thought I had it as well so I had to isolate myself in my office for 10 days. I had just finished playing poker on my computer and I was scrolling around YouTube. When I found a video from a place called Twitch so went to see what it was all about and found people playing online poker on twitch and getting paid for it.

All while helping people. I felt that was for me so I started to watch twitch for like a day or 2 and was like I can do this no sweat. Boy did I find out otherwise lol. I messed up so bad for the first few streams. But eventually I got the hang of things. My biggest score online so far was when I had my first twitch stream I took 4th for roughly 3200.00 when ACR had their OSS series starting. It was event #0 the opener. What I fun stream that was. It’s hard work to run a smooth Twitch stream.

I wanted to learn more about it so started watching other streams and came across PokerGal’s stream. She was so helpful to me in a lot of aspects of how to run a stream. She has been a full time pro for 15 years and she was on the ACR twitch stream team. We became fast best friends and we talk to this day.

Who I am is just someone who loves and has passion for the game of poker and helping people when I can. I live in DFW area of Texas. I love to study poker and to help people figure out what it is they love about the game. My ultimate goal is to be able to play poker for a living. I did try once and was succeeding at it but like all things in life and poker variance shows itself in big ways and I had to go back to a regular job.
