There's more to poker than sitting in a chair…
One thing I love about the game of poker is the fact that it is a game of skill, and learning the skills that can make you a high level crusher takes time and energy. I would bet the very best poker players spend 5x more time studying the game than playing it. In addition, you won’t see many very high level players that don’t appear to be in fairly peak physical condition. Keeping your mind sharp isn’t just about knowing the technical details of the game. Your mental health is directly connected to your physical health. And the closer to peak physical condition you are in, the better you can focus on both the game, and what you need to study. Additionally it gives you the ability to stay more mentally sharp for a longer period of time. A good diet, exercise and finding ways to relax will improve your game! This is why I’ve decided to change those habits and have begun my next poker journey to include a regular course of exercise. I’ll also focus on nutrition, but honestly my diets isn’t really that bad. I eat good nutritional foods. So the physical conditioning is the area I want to improve the most. Hope things work out well! Good luck at the tables folks, and getcha some!
