    I do have an overlimping strategy in certain situations. If it is a generally passive table where it’s common that nobody will raise preflop, then I will sometimes limp if somebody has already limped. I do this with small pairs (55-22) and suited aces from all positions and maybe a suited connector or suited gapper in later position.

    I rarely open limp but I have done this a couple times as a trap with AA. In a cash game, a young LAG put in a straddle. I knew that if nobody raised there was a very good chance he would raise once it got to him. As it turned out, there was a raise and 3bet even before it got to the straddler.

    Another time, I did it in the Rec.poker home game. I just got moved to the table and saw there were good players capable of raising against limpers in late position. I limped my AA and got AQ to call my 3bet jam.
