1, 2 or 3 streets of value?
Posted by marcel-dusyk on February 26, 2023 at 3:25 pmOne topic that has come up multiple times while listening to the podcasts is looking for 1,2 or 3 streets of value. Has this line of strategy been explored in a learning video or as a stand alone podcast subject in the past? If not, would be very interested in the recing crew talking more in depth about it.

It’s a vague topic and one that gets addressed indirectly in other ways. We’ve talked about betting lines in a prior Premium members seminar, but that’s as close as we have gone on a specific topic.
It is a tough thing to sort out. You can have a hand that on the flop, you think you can go for 3 streets of value, but turns out the board says you shouldn’t. And likewise you can make a bet on the flop in spots where you don’t expect to bet anymore, but then the board runs out in a way that you triple barrel.
It’s just so tough to narrow down to here are spots where you would or would not. Because every hand has a decision tree, and that likely has all those possibilities and all the hands that would take those lines. It’s essentially creating your own GTO path for how hands can play out.
