    Hi everyone,

I think this is an interesting hand.

I opened pre which was then flatted, subsequently 3 bet and then the 3 bet was cold called.

I figured I had good implied odds to call as I couldnt imagine a back raise from Monkiesystem.

    I basically drill the flop.

So my first question was do I open jam? I decided for a check jam in the moment and then things went pear shaped really quickly.

Keen to hear some feedback on how I could have played this hand better?

    Thanks all!

Sometimes they get away from us.

SPR was less than 2, meaning any bet by Hero goes into pot commitment. Even though we have the ace-high flush draw (not the nut draw in this case) we would be trying to bluff a crowd out of that 3-bet pot. There is a strong likelihood that someone will call off our lead bet with a strong hand. A small lead bet has no fold equity here. Do we want to jam this pot with a draw against this big crowd?

This seems like risking our tournament life in a marginal spot. Let’s save our bullets for better spots later.
