My guess would be KcJc. Hard to get 3 streets of value without at least top pair. And I would guess AK (12 combos) and KQ(3 combos) type hands would raise at turn worried about the club draw. And stronger hands we beat would also raise for value assuming we had AK.

ya the call of the overbet on the river really eliminates a lot of the hands they might have when they first check the river – hard for it to not be exactly 66, 99 or a king, and we are blocking KQ so KJs or KTs might be in an EP open/call range. maybe 2pr+ always makes a more agressive action on the turn as @yamel mentions. With the river bet being an overbet, I can’t see JJ or TT calling, and what else stays in their range from preflop through the river? I’m officially ranging them down to 66, 99, KJs, KTs
Great value-targeting on the river – if they had a FD they fold anyway and most of the rest of their calling range is already strong enough to call a big bet. Nicely done @Veaner85 !

I should also mention that I had a lot of history with the villain and may have shown a few big bluffs that got through. I really think the villain thought they were trapping.

don’t leave us hanging @Veaner85 what did they have?????

Ah interesting – we talked about 4-betting ranges in the last Book Study session with @rabman50 and AK came up – assuming you are 4-betting AA, what other hands would you want to have in a 4-betting range here to expand it and/or disguise it’s strength? What kind of hands block value in 3-betting ranges and/or maintain equity vs continuing ranges?
