Perfect topic for the mindset channel. What tilts you at the table?
This arose at my home game the other night. I shoved with KQs and was called. The guy beside me said he folded a king. This threw another player not in the hand into a hissy, saying his talking about his hand ruined the runout. Personally, I don’t think it changed a thing. It was already an all-in. Is this illegal in some places?
This got me thinking about other things that steam people. I know stalling into the money tilts people, what else?

great question @EANDERSON85 – in my eyes, this person is talking crazy talk. There is no way talking about card removal after all the action has closed can have any effect on anything – but I guess superstitious people are going to have their own things to feel good and bad about. I don’t really blame them – I’m not SUPERstitious, but I’m a LITTLE stitious. (sorry, couldn’t help it).
The only things that still seem to get under my skin at the tables are 1) jerks berating other players, this steams me every time, and 2) dealer tilt. I HATE that this tilts me because I know many dealers are either new to the job or trying their best and maybe they haven’t been trained up as rigorously as they used to be (yes I am old) but when the dealer has to be corrected on the bet/pot amount several times per orbit, or takes way too long to shuffle/deal between every hand, or misdeals more than occasionally – it gets me tilted! I find it hard to really focus on the game and my play and the other people I should be reading at the table and it definitely takes me out of my A-game. My mental game has really improved over the last 20 years of playing (I actually used to be quite a hothead in my youth) but I still struggle with these kinds of things from time to time.
