Mixed Series – July 12, 2023

On Wednesday night we played Limit 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo (eight or better) to continue the 2023 Mixed Game Championship Series.

JasperJr (Pat Barry) battled shipnfliprec (Luke O’Driscoll) heads up after defeating the remaining field of 53 players to earn his first Mixed Game Championship Series title in 2023. This makes 23 total lifetime wins in official Rec.Poker Home Games.

Larsensopening (George Borden), BruceK54 (Bruce Kieffer), bonecrusher14 (Marcel Dusyk), gfhawk (Eric Romo), ABigDeal1992 (Brian DeHaven), MikeB172 ([Private]), and ckphamm (Carol Hammock) rounded out the final table.

The 2023 Mixed Game Championship Series Player of the Year points race continues with players’ top 10 scores counting toward the POY race. GopherBoyTJM (Taylor) still maintains a strong lead in the POY points Race. JasperJr (Pat Barry) (mad guy) has moved up to second place, bonecrusher14 (Marcel Dusyk) has moved up to third place, shipnfliprec (Luke O’Driscoll) has moved up to fourth place and gfhawk (Eric Romo) has moved up to seventh. Remember only the top ten scores count and there are still 9 events remaining in 2023, so there’s still time to join the race!

Join us the second Wednesday of each month for more of the Mixed series. There is also a Daily Mixed Practice event each Saturday in the same format for the next event in the Mixed series.
