GREAT FUN!!!
Last night was my first OPaH. Although is was a bit confusing with all 4 of my monitors going trying to follow chats that were on a delay and some that weren’t, It was a lot of fun. Especially the all in blind with J6 that turned into a full house and made @TaylorMaas have to spend some of his 4M chips. Mwuahaha!!!

There was a lot going on last night with also the live stream. I didn’t know y’all were going in dark so I was so confused. Good stuff.

I had a lot going on and my Zoom wasn’t setup, so I skipped this week’s OPaH. But it’s always a fun time and I join when I can.
I joined the cash game late but that was a nice bonus to the standard tourney.

It was fun to see you in the Opah @chanceNcounters ! I must be getting old – I would multi-table 6-8 routinely with no problem when I used to play more seriously, but for this one with the OPaH Zoom window, plus the Twitch window, plus playing the Home Game plus playing the Cash game – I was losing my mind! Too many different kinds of things going on at once for this old man lol. The good news is that we had so much fun we’re actually going to add some of this to the weekly schedule – just not all a once!
Tuesday night will still be the OPaH Open – anyone can come and join the Zoom Event from the link on the rec.poker calendar. It’s a great time when we are all playing together and hanging out!
We are adding a cash game to each nightly home game, so if you bust out early come and join the bustout party on the cash game table – it’s displayed in the same lobby.
Twitch was so much fun we’re going to start doing THAT every week too! Look for a new Event in the calendar soon for “Twitch Thursdays” and come join us every week as Steve or one of the core team members streams their play in the Thursday night home game! It’ll be at twitch.tv/poker from 8-10 Central!

It was really fun. I’ve multitabled many times, but I have to say that I’ve always kept it consistent across a single game type. I had an ACR table ITM, the home game tourney, and our Twitch cash game going simultaneously, while watching Steve on Twitch, and it began to be too much. I definitely made some mistakes or missed hands. But it was a really fun night. Looking forward to learning about these Twitch nights too.

We just settled in to an agreement with Cardplayer Lifestyle.. they want RecPoker to stream every Thursday night from 8-10pm Central. So I’m planning to stream as many as I can (and then go to the cash game if needed) but give others the opportunity to do this too. It’s really fun (although a little intimidating).

Steve, you do a great job on Twitch. I think the chances of you having a streaming melt-down similar to DNegs is very small.

LOL… thanks for the encouragement @Binkley — I have fun doing it. However maybe we could get better ratings if I started losing my mind and threatening people.

@SteveFredlund It would interesting to see if Twitch would ban you personally or if the ban would also include the Twitch channel. Not sure if Cardplayer Lifestyle would appreciate the latter.

Lol – fair warning RecPoker Nation, a disproportionate number of recent home game winners have started their night in the OPaH – what is it about that fun crowd that has recently resulted in so many victories for the OPeeps ?!? Find out for yourself next Tuesday!
