Hi, there
I will be visiting the Toronto area for work next month, and I would love to play some poker. I prefer tournaments. Do you have any recommendations?

I’d love to hear the guidance on this myself. I don’t live in Toronto, but find myself there often. But my understanding is that you mostly have to leave the area (Montreal etc.), play in the ringed online games, or play in an underground game. I don’t think there is any regulated live poker in Toronto. But we should get a Canuck in here to verify.

The closest casino that offers poker is Casino Niagara (I believe only cash games are offered at the present time) in Niagara Falls about 1.5 hours away.
Playground Poker Club (south of Montreal) is great but is 5 hours away 🙁
I personally play in private club games (tournaments) available to join through Meetup. You can find one or more running every day of the week. If interested send me a DM and I can give you a list of the ones I belong to and play at.
