I want to answer as a financial planner but it gets just too longwinded for what you want. DM me if you want a more serious financial framework. Otherwise I have these thoughts, study poker here and every other resource you can reach. Play a lot for free. I would avoid the ACR cash tables completely until you have cash to burn because fair play is not assured, and there are many multi table players, which changes the play at the tables. I have been refunded funds from ACR because of fraud at the tables. The tournaments are better and there are many MTT at small stakes. Still, if the buy-in is $2 for the cash game, you could easily buy-in 10 times a night. If you have limited cash buy some PokerStars play money chips and play tournaments until you are winning. Learning is the key, spend time learning off the felt. The RecPoker home game is a play money game that is extremely challenging.

Thanks John for helping clean up my input. I agree with the caution about running VPNs with PokerStars particularly since if you have any tech problems they are going to tell you to turn off your VPN and reinstall PokerStars software, also seems like they are concerned about money transfer issues which could be as simple as buying Play Money Chips. On the other side some players need a higher level of security like connecting through public WiFi or a hotel. I never travel without the VPN on. Also want to note that now that my setup is working, I turned off the VPN based on the input from you and Keith Brandt that you don’t need it to keep working, not a problem with updates, etc.

No illusions of bracelets or any other ets, just fun playing poker with friends.

Tell me when you want it, you got my email.

I have a database of 39k but maybe at my attention quota. This would be good to find massive quantities of leaks, playing errors an “what were you thinking” plays.

Sorry I missed the review of Eric’s hands, had a birthday party, mine. June 12th should work fine.

Thx Jim, sorry I keep missing groups. I have been busy redoing paving and landscaping during daylight. Sure get hands dirty, and everything else as a supervisor, plus I write the checks, what gives?
Alarms are set, I’m ready to go.
5/29 Eric’s Hands, will try to watch prior session.
6/1 Fishing with Rod Adsem, this is important
6/12 Doug hand review
6/28 Seminar recording
What prep should I do?
