Mixed Series – December 8, 2021

Last night we played 8-Game Mix to continue the 2021 Mixed Game Series.

MNted (Philip Feuhrer) battled PokerGeekMN (John Somsky) heads up prior to defeating a field of 71 players to earn his first Mixed Game Championship Series title in 2021. The tournament took 7.5 hours to complete. Sorry I configured the levels incorrectly, it’ll be better next year.

glAssJaw2222 (Dave Shun), fergie56 (Kim Kilroy), combinkley (Eric Gin), JasperJr (Patrick Barry), appleomyi (Harold Berry), mbabker (Michael Babker), and Ivor_Bigone1 ([Private]) rounded out the final table.

Player of the Year Update

The 2021 MIXED Game Championship Series Player of the Year points race is over. GopherBoyTJM (Taylor Maas) has won the series with 364 points and a 30-point lead. Patty98 (Mike Patrick) finished in second place with 332 points despite missing the last two tournaments. McVean (Chad McVean) finished in third place with 314 points, PokerGeekMN (John Somsky) finished in fourth place with 305 points and MNted (Philip Feuhrer) finished in fifth with 286 points.

kekgeek65 (Jacob Kieke), Gloves1010 (Collin Anderson), aces54320 (Kathy Chang), combinkley (Eric Gin) and bloop7 (Mark Bloomberg) rounded out the top ten.
