Mixed Series – December 9, 2020

Last night we played 8-Game Mix to close out the 2020 Mixed Game Series.

Patty98 (Mike Patrick) battled MNted (Philip Feuhrer) heads up prior to defeating a field of 60 players to earn his fourth Mixed Series title.

RecPokerSteve (Steve Fredlund), CA$H_1016 (Kevin Lieder), WilliamOccam ([Private]), Ziva5735 ([Private]), milojunk (Myles Hudson), XxANGRYFISHxX (Eric Smith), and Shoresy00 (Ben Geurs) rounded out the final table.

Player of the Year Update

It seem fitting to end the year with another win by Patty98 (Mike Patrick). Patty98 won the January, February and April events. December makes it a full third of the year’s events and earning 462.98 points. Second place finisher GopherBoyTJM (Taylor Maas) was the only other player to win multiple events with two top finishes and earning 262.84 points.

Patty98 had the Player of the Year points lead from wire to wire, without anyone offering a real challenge. We’ll nee the entire Rec.Poker community to see if they can provide a real challenge for 2021.
