Mixed Series – August 9, 2023

On Wednesday night we played Razz to continue the 2023 Mixed Game Championship Series.

PokerGeekMN (John Somsky) battled JasperJr (Pat Barry) heads up after defeating the remaining field of 51 players to earn his first Mixed Game Championship Series title in 2023. This makes 29 total lifetime wins in official Rec.Poker Home Games.

bonecrusher14 (Marcel Dusyk), pcs2005 (Jack L’Heureux), rabman50 (Rob Washam), MikeB172 (Mike Baer), MNted (Philip Fuehrer), MarblesJam ([Private]), and kkkk8e (Kate Ibbetson) rounded out the final table.

The 2023 Mixed Game Championship Series Player of the Year points race continues with players’ top 10 scores counting toward the POY race. GopherBoyTJM (Taylor) still maintains a lead in the POY points Race. PokerGeekMN (John Somsky) has moved up to fourth place and rabman50 (Rob Washam) has moved up to eighth place. Remember only the top ten scores count and there are still 9 events remaining in 2023, so there’s still time to join the race!

Join us the second Wednesday of each month for more of the Mixed series. There is also a Daily Mixed Practice event each Saturday in the same format for the next event in the Mixed series.
