MemberJanuary 10, 2021 at 12:14 am in reply to: heads up for all the money in the home game! The draw was a combo draw on the turn flush and oesd.
I figured 17 outs.
I also figured villain here had an ace but, my range has all the ak aq combos with the 3 bet?
I was hoping for max fold equity but if called half the deck helps me.

@rabman50 – Hi Rob particularly keen to hear your thoughts on this one please….
-
@FiveByFive I was viewing this in light of the short stack ninja play (book study).
Given the value that was in the pot – i realised I wasnt going to get folds this was play purely based on that perspective…..
-
Thanks for the response @FiveByFive
In regard to the pre flop position….
My pre flop thinking was that I have close enough to a 25 BB stack which I had always viewed as a position where if you 3 bet you cannot afford to fold to a re raise – as a 3 bet would typically be more than 25% of your stack.
If the CO jams – we cant afford to call with my particular hand.
Do you have a view on this?
Thanks again

I was looking to get some live feedback during a game.
Interestingly the most fun and learning I have had of late is doing some streaming on the discord home games channel and having a few people provide live discussion as I was playing hands.
-
looking to try it out

Chris thankyou so much for the time you have put into this response and for the thought around it.
I found it to be an interesting spot…..
That I butchered!
All the best

Awesome response Kim.
As a question – do you have 33%, 66% pot as standard sizes?
Or some other standard sizings pre-set?

It seems the biggest problem i caused myself is the bet on the flop, which then caused knock on problems.

Thanks Chris.

Thankyou so much for the feedback Kim!!
